Juanita Sell is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been providing psychotherapy in the South Bay area for the last 17 years. Ms. Sell has extensive experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples and families in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient psychiatric hospital, residential treatment center, community mental health clinics and private practice. Her clinical approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of the client and is collaborative, strength-based and solution-focused.

Ms. Sell has extensive experience treating relationship and life transition issues, psychological trauma, stress management, anxiety, depression, bereavement, eating disorders and families. Ms. Sell draws from a wide range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral where the focus  is on problem-solving and building life skills, and psychodynamic which is more insight-oriented. She also employs experiential interventions such as art, storytelling and play therapy that can be especially effective with children and adolescents.
