Dr. Bhumitra received her medical degree from Grant Medical College, at the University of Bombay in 1975, and completed her psychiatry residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and has been in private practice in the South Bay since 1987. She serves on the medical staffs of Del Amo Hospital, and Torrance Memorial Hospital, and is a member of the South Bay Psychiatric Society.
